Introduction
The Active Travel England (ATE) internship webinars are designed to inform you about what you will gain from an internship with ATE. When you provide your details to Active Travel England via the Microsoft Teams sign-up form, we will process your personal data to improve and measure the services and effectiveness of our webinars and to deliver the services of Active Travel England
What data we are collecting and how we will use it
We are processing the following personal data:
- your first and last name
- the university you are currently studying at and the course title
- your email address
Personal data is required to allow our HR team to communicate with you on the webinar and collect information to assess interest.
Our lawful basis for collecting your data
Under data protection law, the lawful basis for processing your data is:
Article 6(1)(e) – public task
Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
Data sharing
Your comments and personal data will not be shared outside of the ATE HR team.
How long we retain the data
Your personal data will be kept securely by ATE we will retain your personal data for 30 days following the date of the webinar, and this alongside any comments will be deleted after this time period.
