About this webinar
Did you know that the cycling catchment area of a station can be 16 times larger than the walking catchment area? Join David Hibbs as he discusses promoting cycling the ‘first/last mile’ and what good (and bad) practice looks like. He will also introduce how best to use the Cycle Rail Guidance and Standards for Public Cycle Parking and how getting to/from the station in a sustainable way can be considered a challenge.
David works for Sustrans’ Cycle Rail Working Group and has considerable transport experience in local and central government, the rail and bus industries and the third sector. He has also run a bike shop.
