Transport independence at Kesgrave High School, Suffolk

Children at Kesgrave High School shared how walking, wheeling and cycling to school became the main modes of transport when travelling to school.

One pupil shared:

I just find cycling a lot easier to get to school.

Another pupil added:

It's actually quicker to cycle here from my house than it is to drive. If I drove, I'd have to go all the way around whereas I can just cycle straight through.

A third student told Active Travel England:

It's just so standard - I mean, you know. you come to Kesgrave High School - everybody bikes! In the mornings, I get up, get dressed and get the bike out the garage, it's the first thing I do ready to go.
