Biography
Vijay trained as an Accountant in the private life insurance, pensions, and consumer finance sectors before joining the Civil Service in 2003. He has built up a wide breadth of experience as a senior finance leader from his time in the Department for Work and Pensions where he was also Head of Finance Profession.
Alongside his role as COO for Active Travel England, Vijay currently sits on the Leeds Trinity University (LTU) Board, he is a member of the LTU Audit and Risk Committee and chairs their Remuneration Committee.
